Kevin served five years of active duty service in the Marine Corps as an intelligence analyst in the reconnaissance community. He brings military precision to the craft of rod building, making him an expert in creating customized rods for fly fishing.

After leaving the military, Kevin discovered a passion for fly fishing through a veterans organization called Project Healing Waters. His involvement with the organization not only deepened his love for fly fishing but also enhanced his knowledge of fly tying and rod building. Additionally, he enjoys casting a conventional fishing line in both the lake and ocean.
